Joy Green

Joy Green is a TEDx Transformational Speaker, Trauma-Informed Education Specialist, Chopra Center trained sound meditation healer, bestselling author, and founder of The Joy I’ve Found™, a healing-centered education and wellness company dedicated to helping individuals, families, educators, and communities reconnect with joy, resilience, and purpose.

Through her work, Joy brings a powerful blend of lived experience, professional training, spiritual wisdom, and trauma-informed practice to every stage, classroom, workshop, and community space she enters. Her journey of healing from childhood trauma, depression, and life-altering adversity became the foundation for her life’s mission: helping others understand that healing is possible, joy is internal, and transformation begins when we feel safe enough to reconnect with who we truly are.

As a Chopra Center trained Primordial Sound Meditation Instructor, CPI-certified educator in trauma-informed nonviolent crisis intervention, and degreed educator, Joy specializes in creating safe, compassionate, and culturally affirming learning experiences. Her signature method, Free Your Mind Through Joy™, integrates meditation, mindfulness, yogic science, Ayurveda, self-love practices, and trauma-informed tools to support emotional regulation, personal growth, and community healing.

Joy’s transformational speaking work has reached the TEDx stage, where she continues to inspire audiences to honor their own seasons of growth, healing, and becoming. She also serves as a TEDx Board Member, expanding her commitment to meaningful storytelling, leadership, and community impact.

Through The Joy I’ve Found™, Joy has facilitated trauma-informed education and self-care workshops for early childhood educators, including impactful sessions with Launchpad Learning, where she supported educators with tools for stress reduction, secondary trauma awareness, mindfulness, breathing practices, and emotionally responsive classroom strategies.

Joy is also leading community-centered work in Long Beach through a funded partnership with First 5 LA, Best Start Central Long Beach, and Long Beach Forward. This initiative supports parents, caregivers, and early childhood educators with practical, trauma-informed, healing-centered tools that strengthen resilience, reduce burnout, and create healthier environments for children ages 0–5.

As an international bestselling author, Joy has empowered readers and audiences through her book Journey to Joyfulness, a self-help guide centered on self-love, healing, and taking action toward a more fulfilled life. Her message is both deeply personal and powerfully universal: joy is not something we chase outside of ourselves—it is something we learn to uncover, nurture, and live from within.

Joy is available for keynote speaking, educator professional development, community wellness events, parent workshops, conferences, faith-based gatherings, corporate wellness experiences, and trauma-informed trainings. Whether speaking to educators, parents, students, leaders, or community members, Joy creates experiences that are warm, engaging, practical, and deeply transformational.

Her work invites every audience to pause, breathe, heal, and remember this truth: your joy is already within you—and when you learn how to access it, you become a powerful force for change in your life, your family, and your community.
